John my service technician was absolutely amazing. The door was partially off the rails and was unable to close due to a major door failure. He was able to repair my garage door that needed virtually every moving part replaced within a couple hours.

Our garage has been noisy with creaks and pops and bangs while opening and closing. It came to a head last week when one of the springs snapped. Precision Garage Door of Palo Alto sent their tech David Lopez out at the scheduled date and time and he replaced the spring but also re-adjusted all the hinges, rollers, pulley and opener settings. Now the door opens smoothly and quietly. It was top notch service from David, will definitely follow his advice to keep it all lubricated as he informed us that most of the sound is from metal on metal grinding.

The belt on my Lift Master broke after 20+ years. Googled and called Precision Garage Door Service. I was given a same day 4 hour appointment window and told the service man won't call 30 minutes prior to arrival. After the service inspection I was hold I needed a new garage door opener. The unit came with 2 remotes, a hardwired wall mount and a second exterior wifi battery powered wall mount and 2 electric eyes sensors. I was also hold the door roller bearings needed replacement. I was told it would take 1 1/2 hours quotes 1200 or the lift master and 300 for the rollers. The total with tax was $1589.00 with tax and labor. I would recommend Precision Garage Door service for their prompt courteous service at a reasonable price.

Caleb was extremely knowledgeable and professional, showed up on time, diagnosed and fixed the issue in an hour. He was wonderful. My only problem: the pricing for parts is astronomical. Replacing two springs and two bearings cost $940 — that’s almost double what it cost to repair our AC unit. It would be cool if they provided lower cost options, like gently used parts.

Antonio arrived on time at 4 PM. He was very friendly. He was very professional. He showed himself so well he was complete gentleman. Then we went over what was wrong with the door he answered all my questions and I asked a lot of questions and he never seemed to be annoyed or short with me. He did a great job. Great job. He did everything he promised to do. It was expensive yes, but it was worth it. He's a great guy and I recommend him wholeheartedly 100%.

Wow. Called Friday morning to replace a garage door bottom seal and wanting done next week and they scheduled it for that same day! Pretty amazing service, great tech named Carlos who explained everything, and was all done within an hour of arrival. Would highly recommend.

Super-fast service, lots of communications, easy to reach and easy to schedule. The technician comes on time and with a truck stuffed with pretty much all the parts your garage door could ever need and parts for every type of garage door. I say that knowing that our garage was apparently custom made, unusually heavy and uses non-standard springs. We had one broken spring, and he had the replacement right there with him. That said, their prices are higher than most and I could have saved a few hundred dollars and received the same quality service and parts had I shopped around but the technician was there, he had the parts and could do the work right then and there. He did a great job and was knowledgeable and professional. He completed the job without issue and quickly. Note that their technicians are also salespeople keen on upselling. I was prepared and willing to replace all 4 springs (for balance and the likelihood that the other springs would soon fail as well) but then he pushed hard on new track wheels (which he eventually convinced me on by pulling out a particularly well-worn old one and showing it to me), pushed a bit on a new spring bar and tried but relented on a new garage door opener. So overall: fast, convenient, expensive, salesy but quality parts and work.

Called Precision Door at 7pm on a Wednesday evening. Said I was having some issues, looked like my hinge was broken and giving the door issues coming down. Dispatcher told me they couldn’t be there until 8am to 12 noon. I said no problem. Was given a picture of the person coming and a phone call. Expert service right there. Person came with 3 options. I went with the cheaper of the three. Door was fixed and went on his way. My four stars, instead of 5 was based on price of service.
