Pushed the button on my garage door opener on a Saturday evening and walked away. I heard a loud bang and immediately knew that my garage door spring had broke. Unfortunately both cars were trapped in the garage. I was going to call the company that installed the door but didn’t see any weekend hours listed. I always remember the Precision Door Service jingle from the commercials so I looked them up on the web and saw that they do weekend repairs with no upcharge. I called and got a live person and was told a service technician could be there on Sunday morning. I took a later appointment and when the technician was on the way, I got a text and the ability to track the technician to my home. Carlos Larios arrived, greeted me and shook my hand then we proceeded to go into the house to access the garage. Both cars were inside and it was a bit of a tight squeeze but Carlos exercised care squeezing between the bumper of the car and the door to assess the damage. He presented three different repair scenarios, I chose the most affordable (which was a bit of sticker shock) but it needed to be fixed so I approved, he managed to get the door up and got started. It took him about an hour to complete the spring and bearings replacement. He lubed all of the door components and adjusted the door and it works better than ever. The work is quality and. I am grateful that I was able to get it fixed so we could go to work on Monday to pay for the repair. I highly recommend Precision for garage door needs.

My garage door was rotted and damaged from vandalism. First step, I called the contact number and gave the customer service person my information and needs. She promptly made me an appointment with one of her estimators Second step, the estimator came by on time to give me a job quote. He was very helpful about my concerns of a replacement unit. He gave me a complete quote on replacing the door, hardware, and finish molding. I excepted his offer and made an appointment for installation. Third step, a very professional installer removed the old equipment and put in a fantastic door and trim. I am overwhelmed with the final product. In my opinion, I believe they are the best. Hi had Philip today to diagnose our issue with our garage door that kept opening and closing by itself!!! Just started 2 days ago! Had to unplug everyday so it would not keep opening! The service man came out and quoted me this outrageous cost of repairing my garage door. I said last year I had the same thing done for a couple hundred dollars. His explanation was that they were a big company and have a lot of overhead to cover. Next time I'll go with a different company because I don't think it's my responsibility to pay for overhead. Realistically I should have paid half of what I did with a small company. I wouldn't call this company and go with a small Mom and Pop company.

I am editing this review. The tech changed my broken spring. He knew his spring was too small, he told me, but he said he would do the job. He then claimed my motor was broken after changing it. After looking more carefully, I realized it was not jammed, and still working, the chain had simply gone off the drive sprocket. As advised by the technician, I have now to change my opener again for a stronger one, more fit for my door. Overall, it was ridiculously over-priced (k$1.5k) and now my door is 'heavier' for the motor that needs to be changed.

My garage door was dented and lifting at the bottom. Param came out and gave me a thorough estimate to either fix the bottom only or replace the whole door. Based on his expert and professional recommendations, we decided to only fix the bottom. We are quite pleased with the results and his professionalism and thorough work performance.
